Magazine Short Necklace
This beautiful necklace was created by the Hope Again Women's Project in Rakai, Uganda, who are affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. The income from these necklaces enables them to obtain medical care and support their children and orphans in their community.
The women cut recycled magazines into strips, roll them into beads, and then shellac them. This necklace comes in lovely, natural earth tones as well as bright, bold colors. See color options below.
Length: Approx. 19" long
