Flutemaker Ministries

Flutemaker Ministries was founded in 2007 after musician and flutemaker Erik Sampson traveled to Nicaragua and met children who were working to sift through mountains of trash and sleeping in a garbage dump. Since then, Flutemaker Ministries has partnered with Pastor Carlos of Somoto, Nicaragua to rescue children from the garbage dump and bring them to a hopeful future. With the support of Pastor Carlos, Flutemaker Ministries has built a children’s home, operates a 25-acre organic farm and also supports many children with disabilities in the community.
