This set of four classic cotton napkins, handmade by artisans at 2nd Story Goods, a ministry of FMSC food partner MUCH Ministries in Haiti, features locally-printed words perfect for gathering around a table for a meal. The in-house sewing group at 2nd Story Goods is made up of 2 men and 4 women. 100% of their fabric is bought and up-cycled from the surplus in the local market. If you ever find yourself at their homebase in Gonaives, joyful singing and laughter can often be heard in conjunction with the hum of the sewing machines. It is a beautiful sound!
