Three Cords is a social enterprise dedicated to training, employing, and empowering Haitian, amputee women and their families in Titanyen, Haiti. This small business initiative began after the devastating earthquake in 2010 left many people without limbs and without jobs. In most cases, the women artisans at Three Cords are caring for multiple adults and children within their families.
Through their micro-enterprise, now completely run by the Haitian women themselves, they have become empowered and respected in their community. The Three Cords workspace is a safe environment where the women artisans feel welcomed and at home with their friends who share a similar story.
Headbands vary in color (based on the fabric the women have to work with). See sample colors below.
Size: One size fits all (headbands tie in the back to give you a desired length)
