In the northern region of Uganda, near the border of South Sudan, there is a town called Pader. In 2004, Joseph Kony and the LRA war had a devastating effect on this isolated, northern community. Since then, the Acholi people living in Pader, have been doing their best to restore their community and sustain themselves and their families.
FMSC sends thousands of meals each year to Pastor Enoch who runs a feeding program from his church in Pader. Through this partnership with FMSC, Pastor Enoch was able to create a small artisan cooperative with 6 members. The artisans call themselves Rwot Oyera Craft Group which means God has chosen us.
