Believe Guatemala

Believe Guatemala works to empower and educate families in poverty stricken communities in Guatemala City. Their Restoration Center serves more than 1,200 families in a community at the City Dump by providing educational programs, Bible studies, community outreach, and leadership training aimed at providing opportunities to break the cycle of poverty. Believe Guatemala employs a skilled sewing team made up of mothers and grandmothers in the community who sew beautiful goods for the FMSC MarketPlace.

Gloria rejoices in her job as part of the sewing team at Believe Guatemala. She has worked hard to develop her skills and takes pride in creating items for the FMSC MarketPlace. Thanks to you, she is able to earn an income for her house and support her four children in Guatemala. She is excited to be a part of this beautiful project.

Aura has been sewing for more than 40 years. She was asked to help mentor and teach the women in the community dump how to sew. These women are now part of the sewing team at FMSC MarketPlace partner Believe Guatemala. She finds joy in helping others and contributing to future change for the families in her area.
