Meet one of the artisans: Rose's story

Intricately crafted with timeless tradition, these carefully dyed grass-woven placemats make a gorgeous centerpiece or decorative element on a tabletop, or would also be stunning as a wall hanging!

Women involved with the Hope Again Women’s Project, in Rakai, Uganda, come together to weave these beautiful, hand-dyed grass placemats. Each one is as unique as the individual who made it.
