FMSC MarketPlace partner 2nd Story Goods bean their sewing program way back in 2011. Today, the in-house sewing group is made up of 2 men and 4 women. Most of our fabric is bought and upcycled from the surplus in the local market. If you ever find yourself at our home base in Gonaives, joyful singing and laughter can often be heard in conjunction with the hum of the sewing machines. It is one of their very favorite sounds!
