Enjoy wearing these beautiful, handmade headbands and support artisans living and working in Haiti!
Three Cords is a social enterprise dedicated to training, employing, and empowering Haitian, amputee women and their families in Titanyen, Haiti. This small business initiative began after the devastating earthquake in 2010 left many people without limbs and without jobs. In most cases, the women artisans at Three Cords are caring for multiple adults and children within their families.
Through their micro-enterprise, now completely run by the Haitian women themselves, they have become empowered and respected in their community. The Three Cords workspace is a safe environment where the women artisans feel welcomed and at home with their friends who share a similar story.
Size: The elastic band on the bottom of the wrap makes this headband stretch for a comfortable fit. One size fits most.
NOTE: Fabric patterns for the headbands will vary based on materials available to the artisans. Color options are based on the "main" color of the fabric, but may not be the exact design pattern shown in photos below.
